FIO’s Seitz: Insurer reaction to climate risks under increasing scrutiny

As homeowners and businesses continue to tally the losses from Hurricane Ian, Steven Seitz, director of the US Treasury’s Federal Insurance Office (FIO), said the financial risks posed by climate change are an increasing area of concern and oversight for regulators.
